Additionally, he serves as the Head of Legal Operations at Ocorian Law (Cayman) Limited, managing the finances and operations of the law firm in the Cayman Islands. With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Joel's professional background spans fund administration, financial control, and operations.

Joel holds a Master's in Business Administration with specialisations in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship. He is also a qualified accountant (CPA) and has earned several relevant qualifications, including the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter, the Accredited Director (Acc. Dir.) qualification from the Chartered Governance Institute, the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (FCG). Additionally, he holds the Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (MCSI) qualification.

In his spare time, Joel is dedicated to a range of activities beyond his professional development. He is an enthusiastic trader of the markets and actively engages in public sector initiatives, having served on the boards of various entities, including the Trade & Business Licensing Board.
